Stop Teen Bullying

What we can do to prevent teenager's use of social media as a form of bullying:

I intend to become actively involved in Youree Drive Middle School's joint effort with the National Educational Association to address the widespread and serious problem of verbal and cyber bullying in our schools. I hope to form a committee of parents, teachers and law enforcement to explain the dangers of Face Book and other social media platforms to middle school children. We need to make our children aware of the danger without infringing on their need to socialize. I would like for the parents to set up a system of communication with the schools, each other and our children. I feel this is the best way to protect our kids and to monitor their on line actions. This should also reduce the increase of kids using social media as a form of bullying.
